31% of the world’s land mass are covered in forest (Earth Policy Institute, 2012). Kenya, however, is a country with as little as 6.1% forest cover (Mongabay).

Furthermore, trees prevent land erosion, and are hence the most efficient weapon against desertification. And, even better, planting trees brings along several social benefits as well.

Social Benefits of Reforesting Kenya

Not just the Kenyan environment benefits from our reforestation efforts. In good old Click A Tree tradition we ensure the local community profits from our engagement as well.
