15 Good Things That Happened in 2020
A Click A Tree Year in Review
What a year, huh? Did you also go through the rollercoaster, which was 2020? We definitely did. And we’re absolutely grateful that we did, because the downs taught us many important life and business lessons. (You’ll get to read those lessons in a bit.)
To wrap up the year and give you an insight into the world of Click A Tree, we’re sharing 15 good things that happened in 2020 – A Click A Tree year in review with you.
And you know what they say, all good things come in threes. That’s why we’ve packed up our good news into packages of threes.
3 Treemendously Important Lessons We’ve Learned
If you don’t want to repeat the same mistakes, you have to learn from them. And learning we did. The great thing about mistakes is that you don’t even have to make them yourself to learn from them, you can just learn from the elders. (The trees, not the humans, obviously)
1. Work with what you have
One thing we all got to see this year, is how uncertain life can be. No one really knew, what’s going to happen next. This year we have learned that we need to work with what we have at any given time.
Can’t meet the team or business partners? Okay, let’s do it virtually. Can’t go to the gym? Let’s do a home workout…
Unless it was traveling the world physically (we’re saying physically here because there are ways to travel to your dream destination virtually) or hugging your favorite people (or trees, of course), nothing was impossible in 2020.
2. Creativity for the win
Burying your head in the sand will leave you with a lot of sand in your ears. (This is a really smart conclusion, isn’t it?)
It’s easy to get stuck in tunnel vision when you’ve always done things a certain way, sometimes not realizing that this way might actually not be the best way.
2020 has taught us to stay on our toes and be resourceful. With your big goal in mind, stay flexible and find new creative ideas to reach this goal.
Remember, there are always several paths to reaching your goal.
3. Good News Trumps Negativity
Yes, there has been a lot of negative news in 2020. However, we realized that people want to be optimistic and are yearning for good news.
One tool that we have implemented in our team meetings is to share our good news from the previous week in our meetings. It really sets the (good) mood for the whole week.
If you’re not doing it yet, we recommend introducing a good news session in your meetings and your personal life as well.
3 Good Things That Happened in 2020 in Numbers
Even though we love our threes, we are super excited to say that we have planted more than three trees this year. No need for big words here, just simple facts.
1. How many trees we have planted
4.100 (This isn’t complete yet, this number will be updated once we receive the numbers for the 4th quarter of 2020).
2. How many work hours we have created
1.025 (Same as with the numbers of the trees, this number will be updated in January 2021).
3. How many new partners we have gained
Over 100 new partner.
Lunch Break
At this point we would like to take a short break from our year in review to thank you for your support. You are amazing and we wouldn’t be able to plant trees, create jobs for local communities, and animal habitat for endangered species if it wasn’t for you. So, thank you for reading our articles, sharing this with your family and friends and planting trees.
