How Many Trees Were Planted

Even though Germany was in lockdown the entire time, in Q1 2021 we were able to plant 20% more trees than in the quarter before! That makes it 1,711 more trees on this planet. Ready to cool the earth down and fight climate change….Well, and to grace us with their beauty obviously.

And here are some more good news: Things are slowly easing up and in the month of April, we already planted more trees than in the entire quarter before.

Where These Trees Were Planted

Last quarter we planted the trees in the Philippines, this time around we planted 1303 trees in Ghana and 408 trees in Thailand.

But we are not just planting one kind of tree, in Ghana we are planting over 20 different tree species, including moringa trees. Their leaves have many positive uses, similar to the banana trees that we grow. On top of that, we also plant sheanut trees and nim trees.

But we’re also growing larger trees like mahogany trees, and even baobab trees!

In Thailand, we are growing over 40 tree species in total, including teak trees, cluster figs, golden shower, money trees and yellow bells
